7 Carnivore Super Bowl Appetizers to Impress Your Guests

Ah, il Super Bowl! Everyone gathers, shouts at the TV, and eats like they have not seen food in a year. But why should the carnivore and ketovore crowd miss out? Nonna will show you how to prepare 7 appetizers that are meat-filled, rich, and satisfying. Some are pure carnivore, while others have a little "dirty" twist with ingredients like cottage cheese, chicken flour, or even a pepper or two for the ketovores. Let's make Nonna proud!

1. Bacon-Wrapped Cheese Sticks

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz block of mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 tsp smoked salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pre-cook the bacon so that it is still able to wrapped around the cheese.
  2. Wrap each cheese stick with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  3. Place in an air fryer at 400°F for 8-10 minutes or until crispy.
  4. Let cool slightly before serving.
